The Portuguese wine magazine - Revista de Vinhos –- No. 247 - July 2010 has tasted Grande Escolha 2009 with 38 other Vinho Verde

The Revista de Vinhos in the edition of July 2010 published a Vinho Verde Tasting Panel, attended by 38 different wine producers from the Vinho Verde Region.

To emphasize that Casa do Valle Grande Escolha 2009 has ranked among the three winners of this panel:

Casa do Valle Grande Escolha 2009

Made from varieties Alvarinho, Loureiro and Arinto had a decanting for 48 hours at 10 º C. After a slow fermentation at 14 º C. After fermentation had batonage for a month in stainless steel tank. Following the stage, stabilization and bottled in 6000 bottles.

Winemakers: Luis Duarte and José Ferrão.

Intense aroma, with ripe pineapple and citrus fruit, some melon.

Light in the mouth but with body and wideness, very soft, elegant and impressive.

(13.5%) - 16 (00-20).
