Wine & Spirits scores with 90 e 91 pts the CV Branco / White and Grande Escolha 2009

The U.S. magazine Wine & Spirits Magazine in its edition of August 2010 proved and evaluated the wines Casa do Valle Branco / White  2009 (90/100 points) and Casa do Valle Grande Escolha 2009 (91/ 100 points)

91 - Casa do Valle 2009 Vinho Verde Grande Escolha White Blend

The pale platinum color belies this wine's robust, layered complexity, playing rich lime-citrus scents off a tense, granitic soil character. It has the cool feel of the mountains along the Atlantic coast, of spring rains and apple blossoms. The finish is mouthwatering, with the austerity of chipped granite. For kushi oysters.

 

 

90 - Casa do Valle 2009 Vinho Verde White Blend

Pure citrus scents of orange blossoms and orange zest give this a fragrant sweetness. It's balanced by the dusty talc of Vinho Verde acidity. A fresh, zingy white to pour with grilled sea bass.
